Hello
At What Would Nawdy Do Productions, I specialize in the logistics of "glorious chaos." With over 20 years of experience producing parades, festivals, and long-running community events in Humboldt County, I bridge the gap between creative big ideas and the rigorous operational structure needed to make them happen.
My Story
For over 20 years, my career in event production has been defined by a passion for community building and a talent for managing "glorious chaos." My story is rooted in Humboldt County, where I have had the privilege of shaping some of the region’s most beloved traditions. As the driving force behind the Humboldt Pride Festival, I mastered the art of large-scale logistics, coordinating city-wide parades, multi-stage entertainment, and government relations to create a month-long celebration of diversity. I balanced this civic work with the eccentric energy of the Rutabaga Ball, transforming the historic Kinetic Sculpture Race’s fundraising gala into a high-production spectacle complete with pageants and water crossings. Beyond the festivals, I dedicated over a decade to creating safe sanctuaries for expression as the sole producer of Fetish Night Humboldt, proving that niche, alternative events can thrive with the right mix of safety protocols, education, and consistency. My work is not just about logistics; it is about creating spaces where "humans of all creation" can gather, celebrate, and feel seen, supported by a foundation of professional operational excellence.
